The Gore Bag
![]() |
Shaped a bit like a grandmother's coupon folio, it holds much more than one would expect from something so small. |

Weaponry
While Nahbi eschews the majority of weapons, as he insists very specifically on using non-edged & non-metal weapons, that doesn't mean he doesn't collect any. If something is particularly gruesome, it generally finds its way out of the communal chests and into his bag. They truly aren't for use—he just finds them fascinating.
His current collection stands as follows:
- Cleaver
- Crude Mace
- Cultist Brand
- Ritual Staff
- Shattered Flail
- Whipping Cane
- Improvised Drumstick
While not technically a weapon, it probably could be used as one in a pinch.
Other Nasties
- Timber (squirrel)
He hadn’t meant to kill the squirrel. Now, unable to climb and scurry, he drags it along to see the sights, even if cannot enjoy the sights. Nahbi believes it's the thought that counts. - Fifty poisoned apples
He genuinely wonders if he can poison people by throwing them hard enough at others and intends on trying some day. - A varied collection of roasted dwarf meat
His go-to snack when others aren't looking. - Hair-Growing Tonic
He has no desire to grow hair—the idea is quite upsetting. Someone else might need it though. - Iron Flash
No one has quite discerned what's inside, but Nahbi thinks it's something living. - Lump’s War Horn
- Various disembodied limbs and other body parts
He tries not to take too much. He doesn't want duplicates. - Broken Moon Lantern (multiple)
Ideally, he'd like to fix them. They're pretty. - Spider Egg Sac
Someday they will hatch and he will have MANY spiders.
He has no intention of doing anything with any of the items below. He just thinks they're neat.
- Several strange bottles from beneath the green hag’s Tea Room
- Bottled Eyes & Bottled Tentacles (multiple)
- Dark Mind (multiple)
- Goblet with Dead Tadpoles
The Bear Bag
![]() |
An abandoned overlarge teddy bear he found early on in the Hag’s swamp, built with a hidden pocket for hiding items. Found with a note from a mother warning her child to stay put and stay safe, with no one in the vicinity, Nahbi stared at it in silence for some time before gathering the plush up and taking it with him. |

- Soap Bar, Sponge
— Found outside the Goblin camp, he took it with him, wondering if Mal would look less sour were he to wash his face more often. Perhaps he was not shiny enough for the Drow's liking. - Dog Collar
— A collar formerly belonging to Lenore De Hurst's pet dog, Myrna. - Envoy’s Amulet
— While he had no issue helping the displaced Tieflings of Elturel, the Underdark's Myconids are the first group Nahbi has felt protectively drawn to. As such, when given this item with the words: "Wherever the bearer goes, so does the myconid circle", he takes it very seriously. - Lump of Myconid Flesh (multiple)
— Flesh looted by accident from an already-dead Myconid. “...On second thought, it would be better not to lose this. I enjoy the Myconid.” Unlike the flesh found in the Gore Bag, this is not for food—a non-negotiable point. - Bottled Blooms
— “It is a pretty smell. I would like Soft Friend to have this scent.” - Engraved Pin
— A Harper’s pin found on a corpse. He thought it pretty. - Githyanki Egg
—When given the option of taking the egg, where others hesitated, Nahbi jumped at the offer. He considers it his and his alone, though has no issue with the idea of co-parenting. - Halsin’s Pipe
- Music Box
— “Tis pretty sounding.” - Scratch’s Ball
— “We were entrusted with this. It is important.” - Stuffed Bear
— A teddy bear of normal proportions that, much like its container counterpart, could not be left behind. Nahbi calls it “Soft Friend” and insists on sleeping with it, even when bunking with his partners. - Withered Blue Petal (multiple)
— Like the bottled blooms, he keeps these purportedly to enhance the smell of the rest of the container’s contents while he searches for an appropriate bottle to house them in. - Sending Shell
— Bought from Mattis at the Lost Light Inn. “I would like to listen to it. Perhaps its whispers are kinder than my own.”
The Camp Chest
![]() |
He could not tell you what implores him to take housewares, of all things, but knowing better, the author can tell you it's because they all hearken back to his childhood and pleasant memories of his home with his foster parents. He tries to recreate this with things he finds—mostly kitchen goods. If confronted and told to par down on his hoard of these specifically, he tends to lock up, unable to verbalize the distress it causes him, and resorts hissing and clicking like an upset reptile. |

- Paintings, multiple
— Will take any he's able to, but is especially fond of landscapes. - Jugs and bowls, multiple
— He prefers taking the ones with the blue designs. - Toad Teapot (multiple)
— The majority of these were taken from the green Hag’s Tea Room.
